As I sit here trying my hardest to hold in tears, nothing I could feel right now can possibly compare to that of my dear friend and fellow photographer, Shannon of SW Photography.  Her husband, Lt. Clinton Wermers, was on a cross country training mission (Navy) when the plane crashed in to Lake Pontchartrain around 6:30 Saturday evening. The student pilot in training was found alive about two hours after the crash and the search continued to find Clinton.  We all prayed for a miracle. Sadly, divers recovered his body sometime early this morning. Shannon and Clinton have two beautiful daughters and a third child on the way..which you can see below.  A trust fund has been set up for the children’s education. I spoke with Shannon earlier and she said that she had no problems if anyone would like to bring food by… that it would be most appreciated!  If you would like to do so, please call me for her address. Shannon, her girls and family all need our prayers and support. Shannon, my heart truly breaks for you and I pray that God gives you the peace to get through this tragedy one day at a time. We are all here for you!
