From the moment I met Christine I knew immediately she was going to be an awesome person to get to know. She has such a happy and enthusiastic spirit and you honestly just WANT to get to know her better. Her and David’s beautiful beach wedding was held in Navarre and though we were threatened with a few sprinkles.. it was a perfect day! David and Christine compliment each other perfectly…with love radiating them! Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your wedding! God Bless!!

erica: beautiful, leslie. great job, what a pretty bride!

Joy Taylor: These are breathe taking. She did a great job with those colors for the bridesmaid dresses. The colors really pop and look great in these photos. And the groomsmen aren't so bad looking either. You did a terrific job!

Kylene Gay: Oh la la that dress is divine! Not everyone could pull it off, but she wore it so well! The color palette is delish too, gorgeous shots!

ashley bartoszek: there is so much about this wedding that is absolutely beautiful! you did such a great job!

Vencanice: Lovely wedding dress.

Kelly: Love the bridal dress....it is stunning Where is it from? I would love to consider it fro my wedding?

Where has the year gone?!

December 22, 2009

This past weekend I shot my last wedding of 2009. I can honestly say that never in my life did I think it was possible for a year to fly by SO FAST! It seems like just yesterday the year started with my first wedding being in Maryland the first weekend of January! Oh how time flies. Don’t blink.. you might miss something!

As of tomorrow (Wednesday, December 23, 2009) I will be out of the office until Monday, December 28, 2009 spending some much needed time relaxing with my family. I’ll also be back on the blogging band wagon at that point catching up on all my weddings and shoots that (yes.. it kills me to admit) I’ve been needing to blog since AUGUST! So Merry Christmas!

Since all posts are better with pictures.. here are a few quick favorites from my last 2009 wedding! It was fabulous!!!

Nona Bardin: Oh my goodness, Leslie! The wedding photos on your blog of Mikhy and Katherine are excellent! I know that Stephanie will agree that it is amazing that our "little boy and girl" are now the new "Mr. and Mrs.!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait until Katherine sees these!!!!!!!!!

Katherine Corsair: Dang Leslie, you make me look good!

Every day I am more and more amazed at the little girl my daughter is growing to be. I laugh out loud every time someone says that she is her mother’s daughter. I guess it’s true what they say, “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!” She has the bubbliest personality, cutest smile and prettiest blue eyes. Of course.. I think she is gorgeous but I’m slightly biased! She wins almost every person’s heart she meets immediately. We have a local restaurant that we go to a few mornings a week for our Mommy/Daughter breakfasts and she’s got at least six locals hearts. One older woman said, “I don’t have grandchilden yet but I will take that beautiful one if you want!” A few others know how much she loves the sticker machine and every time we go she gets two quarters to get new stickers. Can you say SPOILED?!?!

However, she is also one of the most caring and nuturing little girls I know. If anyone say’s “ouch” she immediately asks if they are ok. I adore when she comes up to me and grabs my face to kiss it all says, “I kiss you all over you face mommy!” She has her teachers at school wrapped around her finger and they have all agreed that if they gave out awards for personality.. Kaydence would be the goofiest! She can make anyone laugh.

So I could go on all day long about how much I love and adore my precious little girl but you might get bored.. so instead I’m going to share some pictures of our mini session this morning! :)

Joy Taylor: OMG the pink hat and those blues eyes are a great combo. The outfit is too cute and I can see her personality in every single photo! Two thumbs up!

Shelby Peaden: Kaydence is just too cute! Such a happy girl she is with such pretty blue eyes. Love these fun colorful shots.

Things I LOVE ~ Action Shots!

December 16, 2009

If you can’t tell, I’m starting a new series called Things I LOVE. It may be once a week or every day but I thought it would give you all a little more insight into who I am!

Today’s Things I LOVE is, as titled, action shots! Every once in a while in the heat of the moment you get shots that are not “technically correct.” They could be slightly out of focus and possibly have some action blur. In my opinion there is a HUGE difference in completely out of focus and action/movement in a shot. The frame (as in one image below) may not even have the subject(s) full face(s). However, I LOVE them when they completely capture the essence of the moment. Here are three recent faves…two from a recent wedding and the other from my engagement session tonight!

BTW.. Can you believe it’s almost Christmas time?! Who wants to see snow?? I DO.. I DO!!!!!!!

Things I LOVE ~ Albums!

December 15, 2009

Typically when I receive albums in, I’m SO excited to get them to clients that I don’t stop and take the time to take photos of them to share with others. I’ve realized just how bad that is. They are GORGEOUS! Why wouldn’t I want everyone to see them?! I’ve also come to realize that, even from a brides perspective, you can never truly appreciate your wedding images and photography until you see it in a finished album. Sure, you may LOVE your images, but I assure you you’re heart will not melt the same way it will when you see your finished wedding album. Every time I hold one in my hands, my heart pitter-patters like you would never believe (AND IT’S NOT EVEN MY OWN WEDDING!) and I love the wedding even more than I did when I sent the images to my brides. Here are a few images of Tori and Craig’s wedding album. I’ve got several others in the proofing process getting ready to go to print so stay tuned for more! Enjoy!!
