Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 4:11 in the afternoon my brother-in-law Adam  and his girlfriend Selina welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world. I was getting everything together for my wedding in Tallahassee today but headed out when we got the news she would be pushing soon. Kaydence and I arrived about 20 minutes before Logan and just before they let us in the room to see him Andy arrived as well. Talk about having baby fever. Here are a few pictures that I grabbed before we headed back to the house. Have a great weekend everyone!

Mandi: Beautiful captures.

Mandy: Oh this isn't helping my baby fever! LOL

We are about to head out for our day after shoot but I wanted to post a quick sneak of the wedding yesterday!  After that I’m taking a train into New York City for a couple days of R&R! Enjoy!

Aaron: I love the first picture, it captures the emotion of the moment.

Jen: these are such amazing pictures!!!!!!

A few months ago I ran across a photography contest on Destin Commons website called Capture the Moment. They had both a professional category and an amateur category. As soon as I saw it I knew that I had the perfect pictures to send! I photographed Sara’s family at Destin Commons during the summer of 08′ before her husband was preparing to deploy. I entered the picture that to me best captured the moment at Destin Commons and I won! I was so excited and just saw that the Autumn issue of Destin Magazine is out in which my entry was featured! Check it out!

On another note, I will be away from the office until next Wednesday! I will be traveling to New Jersey and New York. I will be shooting Brenda of Best Wedding Sites family on Friday, Melissa and Dave’s wedding on Saturday and their day after session on Sunday. Sunday night I will be attending GetMarried.com’s Launch Party and then Monday and Tuesday will be filled with venturing around New York City and hopefully meeting up with a few online photographer friends along the way! I plan on taking lots of pictures!!! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Wow.. two blog posts in one day.. what’s that about?!

I’m compulsive. I’m the shopper that sees all the “must have” items in the “last minute aisles” at Target. I see a pair of shoes that I can’t live without. I switch my daily agenda with the blink of an eye. Seriously.. as my hubs and I walked through Target yesterday and I ewed (did I spell that right?!) and ahhed at SO many things…he turned to me and said I’d turned into the wife her most feared. My personal trainer asked me what prompted me to hire a trainer for five days a week for three months. He said I must have something I want to look good for and I said nope.. I just want to look good… and at the end of the day my compulsiveness had a bit to do with it. I just fall in love at first sight with some things and the rest is history!

My compulsiveness is what has prompted me to post yet again today. I’m trying to finish up Rachel’s beautiful wedding images and I just fell in love with these two images! So enjoy…

B. Gresham: LOVE that first shot Leslie. Awesome!

I seriously lack patience. Growing up when I was told that patience was a virtue I would tell anyone who said that that patience was a virtue that I did not possess. I don’t have patience for sitting in a doctor’s office over an hour, I don’t have patience for doctor’s that can not tell me why Kaydence repeatedly gets ear infections back, to back, to back….FOR OVER A YEAR! I don’t have patience when I’m ready to go and Andy wants to finish the last few minutes of Halo on Xbox. I could really go on and on and on about the things I don’t have patience for but I really think that you all get the point. The next two days will be full of nothing but editing. Patience with myself is wearing thin because I want to have the few events/sessions I have to edit completed but things keep pulling me away from the house. I know the Kay’s health as well as my own both have to come first, however.. I hate making my brides and clients wait. However, I do want to thank all of you who have been patient with me.. because trust me when I say I know how hard it is! Of course all posts are better with a picture so here is some eye candy for you!
