Dallas and Tiffany were such an amazing couple! They were married in Panama City and chose to do a “first look!” While I think that first looks are a complete personal choice I do love them because you have so much more time to play without worrying that your guests are waiting. There ceremony was extremely special because both of their fathers are pastors and they both performed the ceremony. I got to spend the morning with Tiffany and her girls as well as both moms! I know I repeatedly say this but there is nothing like being welcomed and treated as a lifelong friend at my weddings. Everthing went perfectly. I had so many favorites of the couple that I didn’t post as many details and party. I decided to focus on them! There are two pictures from the reception that stuck out to me. The best man was so overwhelmed with emotion that he couldn’t stop crying to speak which in turn had everyone laughing to tears..including Dallas which you will see. Anyhow.. on the the picture overload!

Brandon Gresham: Love their toast reaction shot. Great emotion!

Shannon Littrell: oh leslie- these are fantastic! you captured the excitement and emotion of the day perfectly. you rock!

Jason Lanier: I love the umbrella. Great shots!

Chad and Regina had a beautiful ceremony on Pensacola Beach at The Hilton! There ceremony seriously brought me to tears. Chad’s relationship with Regina’s daughters reminded me so much of that with my dad! Shannon at Fiore did a wonderful job with the flowers and I loved the favors and details that Chad and Regina chose. Everyone made me feel like I was part of the family.  So welcoming and just made the whole day a blast!!.

Regina: Leslie it was such a joy having you as our photographer and celebrating together with us, as family. The photos are beautiful and we had so much fun! The ceremony & reception flew by. We will reflect on this wonderful day and cherish the moments with our friends and family, including you. As for the slideshow, I cannot express in words how beautiful the slideshow was and how you chose the perfect song! (I think I am going to watch it again now!:) Thank you! The Carlsons

I know they say you should never explain why you’ve been absent but if you don’t people ask why. Even my husband has been on me to catch up on blogging! As most photographers can attest to, the summer is the busiest time of year and slowest blogging time. I thought that after my surgery I would be able to blog more but clients come first which mean blogging gets pushed aside.  I managed to get a lot done but I still have a lot to do. My aunts and my cousin Emily were here this week and we enjoyed it so much! (The down side was I didn’t get much work done.) We went to an antique store, where I found two ADORABLE umbrellas for little girls, played bingo, went to the beach, had a cookout with my Dad and watched The Ugly Truth. Kaydence of course loves her Emi and the two are inseparable anytime they are together. I was able to snap a few pictures of the two of them and then of course decided I might as well go ahead and update my pictures of Kaydence. Her vast array of expressions totally cracks me up. I’m working on a few more blogs posts today so that hopefully I can get caught up on blogging this week! Happy Saturday everyone! Enjoy!

Jason Lanier: I can't believe how much Kaydence is growing up! Great shots.

On June 21, 2008 I had the pleasure of spending the day with a wonderful, adorable and sweet couple! Megan and DJ were one of my awesome couples from last year and their wedding was absolutely beautiful. I can’t remember if I was blogging regularly back then but in any case.. you can imagine my delight when Megan contacted me to photograph them for their anniversary! We had a wonderful time out at Perdido Key and I can’t wait to see them years from now!!!! Here are a few of my favorites!!

Ok so I will be the first to admit I have never been good at resting. I go, go, go until I just crash usually. It’s been a part of my nature oh.. since birth! However, Thursday brought on a whole new meaning of rest! If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you will know that I had an outpatient surgery on Thursday. The reason for the surgery was that I have been having severe pains in my abdominal area that my doctor thought were being caused from endometriosis. I can not even being to tell you the amount of prayers I received from my amazing family and friends!!

After the surgery the doctor talked to the hubs. I was obviously out of it. I DO NOT have endometriosis!! WOOHOO! I can’t begin to tell you what a relief that was. I did however have two large ovarian cysts (the he took care of) and I possibly have a blocked fallopian tube. What’s all the mean?? I don’t really know because I haven’t had my follow up yet. What I do know is that my amazing doctor took wonderful care of me and my fear of never being able to have kids again is now gone!

I am not allowed to drive until Monday and I can not lift anything for the next two weeks. That’s a little difficult with a two year old but she is adjusting!

On another note.. I found out today that Chris and Laurie’s wedding was featured on the Florida Bride’s Blog on Thursday!! Danielle and Cassandra are both Florida Brides and decided to create a blog that was dedicated to all real Florida weddings, details, resources and ideas for the modern Florida Bride. If you’re still in the planning stages of your wedding be sure to check out their site!!!

With almost three weeks off, I will be doing lots of editing..oh yea.. and RESTING!! That also happens to mean I will be doing lots of blogging!  I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Christy Lynn: Leslie, I am so thankful that you do not have endometriosis! It sounds like everything will be just fine, you are in the best of hands, Gods! Congrats on the feature Girl, you deserve it!
