Wanted to share..

January 30, 2008
It’s been a little while since I shared a picture of my daughter. Kaydence will turn 1 on the 27th! I can’t believe it. Here she is..She is not the easiest subject these days. She loves to move around. This is one of my new favorites..even though she isn’t smiling! Enjoy!

Jason Lanier: this is a great shot!

Kricia Morris: Oh to have those eyes...there's something about the eyes of a child...and our two have amazing examples I have to say!

Bob Q: Hey Leslie. Joe's dad. She just gets more beautiful by the day. See you next week

Leslie Roark: Thanks everyone!! Of course I think she is beautful but I'm a bit biased..ahaha. I can't wait to see all three of you!!

Yesterday I did a shoot to document the arrival of Channing Addison. She is a wonderful addition to the Coone Family. You can tell her big brother loves her very much! Take a look at her sweet face!

Thank you Chris and Kelly for letting me photograph your beautiful children!!!

Pensacola NAS

Last weekend I shot a wedding couple named Brad and Eve. First let me say what a beautiful couple they are! I had so much fun at their wedding. The love and emotion that they have for one another just radiates to those around them. Everything was going off without a hitch.. that is until half way through the reception. Someone tripped the fire alarms. Now if this was my wedding ceremony I would be furious! Don’t get me wrong.. Eve was slightly upset at first. Then we get her on the fire truck for a little photo shoot and her spirits were lifted! After that little incident there were no other problems. The couple danced the night away and after the reception we went out back for a photo shoot. Thank you Brad and Eve for letting me be a part of your day!

Kricia Morris: BY FAR the best slideshow that you have put together by date! They are an absolutely beautiful couple, and their love really shone on their wedding day! And of course you did an amazing job making sure they would have amazing pictures to remember it by! Terrific job!

Anonymous: Leslie, The slideshow of Eve and my new Son-in-Law, Brad was just wonderful. You captured the evening's events perfectly. Your talent is already impressive and I know your career will flourish in the coming years.

Leslie Roark Photography: Thank you for your wonderful comments! Eve and Brad are a beautiful couple! It was such a great pleasure to work not only with them but with your family and the Carey family!

Anonymous: Hey girly, sorry I have not visited for a while. Love that slideshow. I think I am coming to FL in Feb so I get to see you again. Can't wait to meet your family and see Kaydence. (did I spell that right?) I am soooo bad with remembering how to spell names!
ta-ta for now!

Anonymous: oh, uh, sorry, that last comment was from me, Kara.

Night Photography

January 8, 2008
More and more I am playing with night photography! It is amazing what can be captured. Last night (10:30p.m.) I went outside to see what I could capture around my house. I would like some feedback about the picture below. After I snapped the button, the fog started rolling in behind the trees and I thought it turned out pretty cool. What do you think?

Memories by Micha: I am loving it! Amazing how much light your flash puts out!!! JUST GORGEOUS!!!

Leslie Roark Photography: Oh.. there was no flash. That was only street lights and natural light. Thank you though!

Jacob Bergmeier: look at that sky!

DJ and Brittany Mosley

DJ and Brittany,

I know I posted a few pictures and comments on my previous blog regarding your wedding but I wanted you two to know how much I love you guys! You mean the world to me and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful addition to my family (Brit). I hope you enjoy your slideshow! For others that would like to view it please click the picture below.

(Edited to add: Again, I want to thank my wonderful husband Andy, Kricia and Micha for all their help that day. For those that don’t know, I was IN this wedding and I was also their photographer! So my husband (whom I have been training for at least a year) was put to work along with my friends Kricia (photographer in training) and Micha (Memories by Micha). Without you three DJ and Brittany would not have the memories of their day that they have! I am so thankful to all three of you! I love you guys!)

Kricia Morris: Anytime! It was a blast, and I can't wait to keep working with you, you're such an inspiration!

Memories by Micha: You are more than welcome you know I am here anytime you need me. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for you and your help. I totally agree with Kricia you are a huge inspiration and God has blessed you and blessed me to have you in my life! I love ya!!!
