Hello blog world! I’m so sorry for my absence. I’ve really missed you but had to get my clients taken care of first. I know you understand!

That being said, I’m going to start back with an absolutely PRECIOUS (and my new FAVORITE)  newborn shoot (EVER) with a dear friends new baby girl. She was only 12 days old and did amazing for our shoot. She only whimpered once. Absolutely the best baby and SO beautiful!!! Thank you Alison.. I hope you love these as much as I do!

I was so excited when Danielle contacted me to for her families beach portraits again this year! I’m so honored that they would think of me again and I also enjoy being able to watch the children grow up! It really does give me the warm and fuzzies inside!! I know.. I.. I know.. I can not believe how quickly days go by. Does anyone remember this picture?

Kaydence was just shy of 7 months old and her cousin Dawson (not by blood… we can’t have “REAL” kissing cousins!) was right at 11 months.
Tonight we had a mini BBQ and Dawson came over to play… imagine our surprise (yea..right!) when we got this:

I was in the process of shooting some six month photos for Dawson’s baby sister Haiden when we saw them in the car together. Here are a few of my favorites!

Nothing melts my heart more than to walk into a client’s home and see a beautiful cooing baby! It’s been some time since I have had a newborn session and I was instantly flooded with memories of when my own not-so-baby girl was only five weeks old.

Haylee was very alert and happy to oblige me as soon as I asked something of her. You’re probably wondering why on earth I would be asking an infant to do something! I’ll explain.

At one point I asked her if she would curl her legs back up for me and wouldn’t you know.. she did it?! Sarah, aka Mommy, and I just giggled as we savored every second of watching Haylee “perform” for the camera. (Yes.. I really do know that infants don’t actually follow directions.. but humor me!)
